Volumes (sometimes stylized as VOLUMES) is an American progressive metalcore band formed in Los Angeles, California in 2009. Volumes blends progressive metalcore and djent with hip-hop, jazz, classical, and alternative. Their rhythmic groove and ambient, polyrhythmic soundscapes are heavily shaped by early inspirations like Meshuggah and Periphery (Misha Mansoor’s ‘Bulb’ project), as well as post-hardcore acts like The Chariot and The Bled.
